Design a Concept Glassy Web Logo in Photoshop
3-19-08
Step 1:
Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 500×5000 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a white color. Then on your layers palette create a new layer set and name it ‘Concept Logo’.
Choose the Pen tool with paths selected under the options palette. Create a new layer and make the same shape below in paths then right click on your keyboard and select Fill pixels with #00A8FF color shade. You can download the shape here.

Step 2:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your shape layer from step two.

Step 3:
Go to Select > Load Selection, default settings. Now while the shape design has a marquee selection go back to Select > Modify > Contract, 6 pixels setting. Make a new layer and fill the smaller selection with black shade.

Step 4:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Satin and Gradient Overlay blending options to the smaller black shape layer. Then set the layers blending mode to Lighten on the layers palette.

Step 5:
In a new layer draw the black shape as shown below, grab the psd file here.

Step 6:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Color Overlay and Gradient Overlay blending options to your black shape layer from step five.

Do I miss something? On top is twice the setting for the gradient overlay but not the Inner Shadow. What should the Inner Shadow be?
